Who actually reads you, and what the LinkedIn algorithm changed
The mentor posts about 4 times a week, always around 13:00: leadership and management, workplace culture, self-doubt and action, the life of solo entrepreneurs, habits and AI tools.
The LinkedIn algorithm shows a post to the people who reacted to the last ones, then to people like them. When the feed talks about managers and their teams, it fills with employees. Reach can't say whether the freelancers and coaches who buy mentoring are in it. Who reacted can. We read the first 100 people who reacted to each post between 23 September and 3 November and sorted them by role.

What to post on LinkedIn to reach freelancers, coaches, consultants and founders
Most creators judge a post by its reactions. A mentor who sells to freelancers and coaches should judge it by who reacted.

5 rules for LinkedIn engagement from freelancers, coaches, consultants and founders
These rules come from the mentor's own posts between 23 September and 3 November, and from the best-performing French posts on LinkedIn for freelancers, coaches and solo entrepreneurs over the last 3 months.
1
Give tools, not only principles. Freelancers and coaches react to what they can use tomorrow. A list of tools, one line each, beats a principle they already agree with.On this profile: the AI tools post brought 37.8% buyers, and the habits, productivity and AI topic 28%, against 16% for workplace culture. Across the niche: a list of 20 AI tools got 960 likes and 262 comments.
Talk to the person who works alone, not to their manager. The offer is for solo entrepreneurs. Posts written to them, about deciding alone and carrying it alone, bring them in. Posts written to managers bring employees. On this profile: the solitude post brought 29.1% buyers. The 8 leadership and management posts averaged 17.8%.
Name the doubt that comes before the first client. 'When I'm ready' is what stops a freelancer from prospecting. Say it in their words, then give the steps. On this profile: 'Les gens qui paraissent sûrs d’eux' brought 30.3% buyers over 99 reactions read, the best share of any post with more than 50 reactions.
Tell your client story as a timeline. First client, fifth, fiftieth: each step is a lesson the reader is living now. It shows 15 years of experience without saying it.Across the niche: a client timeline from the first client to the 300th got 116 likes and 94 comments, close to 1 comment per like.
Don't judge a post by its reactions. The posts that travel furthest reach employees. Keep them for reach, and count who reacted before repeating a topic. On this profile: the toxic culture post got 1,518 reactions and 11% buyers. The AI tools post got 37 reactions and 37.8% buyers.

7 tâches de prospection à confier à l'IARule 1: tools, not principles. Modelled on the AI tools post (37.8% buyers) and on Clément Predo's 20 tools post (960 likes), aimed at finding clients.
Hook

15 ans de clients, dans l’ordreRule 4: the client story as a timeline. Modelled on Alexis Makounga's 'Mon premier client : c'était ma mère' (116 likes, 94 comments).
Hook
Erreur.◉ 50e client

Tu attends d’être prêt pour prospecter ?Rule 3: name the doubt before the first client. Modelled on 'Les gens qui paraissent sûrs d’eux' (30.3% buyers).
Hook
“Quand mon site sera fini.”
“Quand j’aurai un logo.”
“Quand mon offre sera parfaite.”Pendant ce temps,
→ Aucun message envoyé.
→ Aucun appel.
Visual · Single imageA to-do list with 'site', 'logo', 'offre parfaite' crossed out, and only 'envoyer 10 messages' left.Check before postingKeep the five steps as you really teach them in your coaching, and adjust the numbers (10 people, 20 minutes) to your method.
Les 10 prompts pour signer tes 3 premiers clientsLead magnet, format 1: the ready-to-paste prompt, like Benoît Dubos's (223 comments). Built from the AI tools post and the prospecting and closing the mentor teaches.
Hook

Entreprendre seul ne veut pas dire tout faire seulRule 2: talk to the person who works alone. Modelled on the solitude post (29.1% buyers), with the free Club as the offer.
Hook
