SellsA software tool that lets accounting firms model executive pay (salary vs dividends, SARL vs SAS, retirement) and sell it as an advisory mission
PeriodSep 21 – Oct 30
Ideal client: chartered accountants and partners of French accounting firms who want to turn the year-end pay question into a paid advisory mission. The challenge: Most of the founder's posts are dense, technical tax and pay analysis written for accountants. Twenty-one people react to almost every post. Are they the accountants the posts are written for?
Key takeaways
75 chartered accountants in 6 weeks. That is 17.8% of the 421 people who reacted. But none of the 21 people who reacted to 10 or more of the 15 posts is an accountant: they are mostly marketers, LinkedIn agencies and ad specialists.
Free resources bring 4x more accountants. The two posts that gave something away (the SARL vs SAS study and the 40,000 euro guide) brought 21.6% accountants. Technical pay and retirement posts brought about 5%.
Accountants react once and leave.66 of the 75 accountants reacted to a single post. Only 2 came back to 3 posts or more, so the moment to start a conversation is right after the first reaction.

Who actually reads you, and what the LinkedIn algorithm changed
The founder writes for accountants: every post talks to the firm about its clients, its deadlines and its fees. The question is whether accountants are the ones reacting.
The LinkedIn algorithm first shows a post to the people who usually engage with it. When the same group reacts to every post, the post travels inside that group first, and the buyers it was written for see it later, or not at all.

The regulars are not the buyers. 21 people reacted to 10 or more of the 15 posts, together 269 of the 788 reactions we read. None of them is a chartered accountant: LinkedIn content agencies, ad specialists, marketing consultants, a SaaS founder, a training company.
Accountants behave differently. They react once, to a post that is useful to their firm, and move on: 66 of the 75 reacted to a single post. That makes them easy to miss, and it makes the choice of topic matter more than the posting rhythm.

What to post on LinkedIn to reach chartered accountants
A software founder who sells to accounting firms should judge a post by how many accountants it reaches, not by its reactions.
We tagged each of the 15 posts by topic, then measured the share of chartered accountants among the people who reacted, and how many each post reached.

6 rules for LinkedIn engagement from chartered accountants
These rules come from what worked on the founder's own profile between 21 September and 30 October 2026, and from the best-performing posts by French accounting creators and accounting software founders on LinkedIn over the last 3 months.
1
Give the resource away in the first line. Accountants save what helps them with a client file. A post that opens with a free study, guide or table tells them in one line that it is for them.On this profile: the 2 posts offering a free resource brought 21.6% accountants, 43 in total. The 9 technical pay and retirement posts brought 19 together.
Talk about the firm, not only the client's tax. An accountant reads tax news every day. What they read less often is how other firms organise advice, bill it and staff it. Posts about the firm's business speak to the partner, not the technician. On this profile: posts about the firm and the tool (testimonials, fees, provisions) brought 11.7% accountants, more than twice the technical posts (about 5%).
Lead with a number about the profession. Accountants respond to figures about their own market: diploma numbers, firm prices, fees. A number about the profession is something they repeat to their partners.Across the niche: a chartered accountant with 1.7k followers got 399 likes with two records in her first lines, the number of new diplomas and the price of buying a firm.
Take a side on the profession's news. E-invoicing, the Order's congress, the value of advice: accountants have opinions on these. A post that takes a clear position gets comments, and comments reach the commenter's network of accountants.Across the niche: the president of a regional Order of chartered accountants got 705 likes and 111 comments with a post defending the e-invoicing reform ten days before it started.
Show the figures nobody publishes. Founders who sell to accountants earn trust by being open about money. A transparent breakdown, line by line, is read to the end and shared between partners.Across the niche: the CEO of an accounting software company got 362 likes and 66 comments by publishing the full cost of a stand at the accountants' congress.
Put the posts that sell on Monday morning. Accountants open LinkedIn at the start of the week, before client meetings. The posts that carry a resource or a firm story should get that slot.On this profile: Monday posts brought 18.2% accountants over 5 posts. Wednesday posts brought 1.6% over 4.

Monday is the clear winner: 18.2% accountants over 5 posts, including both free resources. Wednesday brought 1.6% over 4 posts, and Friday 6.7% over 5. Tuesday's 11.2% rests on a single post.
10 of the 15 posts went out at 8:00 and 4 at 6:00; the hour matters less than the day and the topic. Keep Monday 8:00 for the resource or the firm story of the week, and use Wednesday and Friday for the technical posts that keep the regulars engaged.

Le calendrier de fin d'année du conseil dirigeantRules 1 and 6: the resource in the first line, on a Monday. Modelled on the 40,000 euro guide post.
Hook

Ce que rapporte une mission rémunération à un cabinetRules 2 and 5: the firm's business, with every figure on the table. Modelled on the congress cost breakdown by an accounting software CEO.
Hook
Visual · Single imageA simple receipt-style table: clients eligible, time per mission, fee per mission, result for the client, with each figure in bold.Check before postingAll figures come from your October posts (850 €, 40 %, 10 %, 9 h 45, 27 seconds, 1,700 executives, 7 %): check they are still the ones you use in demos.
Le rendez-vous bilan n'est plus le seul moment du conseilRule 2: the firm, not the tax. Modelled on the five-firm testimonial post, told through one partner's quote.
Hook
Visual · VideoA 40-second cut from the existing testimonial video, with the quote as a subtitle and the firm's partner on screen.Check before postingUse the real quote and name only with the partner's OK (the quote is from your 29 September post); otherwise keep it anonymous as written.
La facture électronique va vider la saisie. Où ira le temps ?Rule 4: take a side on the news accountants talk about. Modelled on the regional Order president's e-invoicing post.
Hook
→ Une réponse chiffrée quand ils demandent « je me verse combien l'an prochain ? »

LinkedIn lead generation: lead magnets that work to target chartered accountants
Reactions show interest. A download shows intent. On this profile, the two posts that offered something free brought 43 of the 75 accountants. The fastest way to find out which firms are serious is to give them something they will use on a client file, and see who asks for it.
In French accounting and finance, these formats get the most requests:
Format 1A ready-to-use spreadsheetA file accountants can open and use the same day: a cash plan, a tracking table, a simulator. The offer is one line, the value is obvious.
Format 2A tool built for firmsA small tool that saves a firm hours on a new obligation. Built by an accountant for accountants, it travels between firms.
Format 3A comparison tableOne table that compares the options a client asks about: SARL, SAS, holding. It is the kind of document an accountant keeps next to the client file.
Format 4An AI kit for accountantsA ready-made AI assistant set up for one accounting task. New, concrete, and easy to ask for in one word.
Our pick for you: “Le calendrier de fin d'année du conseil dirigeant”Built from the founder's own posts on the 1 December retirement deadline, the 15 December high-income contribution, TNS provisions, the 65 k€ threshold, the CAVEC increase and the end of the irrevocable tax option: one page, 6 dates, the clients concerned and the question to ask in the meeting. Offer it in post 1. From reactions to clients
Content brings chartered accountants to the profile. It doesn't say when to reach out. Most never comment, so they stay invisible, and on this profile they rarely come back: 66 of the 75 reacted to one post only.
On LinkedIn, the right moment to start a conversation is when someone shows intent. We call that Hot: 5 or more points over 90 days, where a reaction counts 1, a repost 2, a download or a reply 4. A firm that asks for a free resource is Hot the same day.

Yes. Netwarm only reads public reactions to your own posts. It never logs in as you, never asks for your password, and never messages anyone for you.
How we made this playbook
We read the public reactions on 15 posts published between 21 September and 30 October 2026, up to the first 100 people per post, and sorted the 421 people by role. Comments were not counted, so engagement figures are a floor.
Chartered accountants are people whose headline says expert-comptable, statutory auditor or partner of an accounting firm; trainees, students, staff and vendors to firms are counted apart. Niche rules come from top posts by French accounting creators and accounting software founders over the last 3 months. Role groups are approximate; a Netwarm scan matches people to your own ideal client.
